EDITORIAL
TOPIC: Editorial Articles
BRIEF: Having completed my placement, I got taught more about how to use InDesign to its fullest potential. I wanted to continue my InDesign interest so I have created some magazine extracts that I would like to see in your average magazine. TOPIC: Colosoul BRIEF: I designed a few pages for a Japanese magazine. The brief was very open but it wanted to show the Japanese audience some culture from across the world. Being British, I decided to do a British themed style. Here are the finished copies.
TOPIC: Book
BRIEF: The brief for this project was to place the given text into a visually pleasing design.
Due to the nature of the books, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible. A lot of white space and black and greys were used as the colour scheme.
TOPIC: Cardiff Bay
BRIEF: This is one of my favourite pieces of designs that I have ever done. I made two brochures that advertised what you can find/do in Cardiff Bay. I made a Welsh and an English copy. The photography was all mine as well, resulting in this blog being nominated for the Best Photography Blog in Wales in 2011. Thanks!

TOPIC: Portfolio
BRIEF: I made this little brochure in my last year of university to showcase all of the small designs that I made that term. This book mainly consisted of logos but it did feature an iPad app.

INFOGRAPHICS
TOPIC: Air pollution
BRIEF: This was a brief given to me whilst in China. The brief was quite open which allowed me to play about and experiment. I decided to do two completely different designs. One in colour and one in black and white. Here are the final outcomes.
TOPIC: Travelling
BRIEF: The brief was to visually show whatever you liked. This was a university project in which I decided to do travelling. I wanted to break down a few different elements of which countries to go to I.E. How far away is a certain country from London, most dangerous VS most safest etc...
ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN
TOPIC: Warburtons
BRIEF: This was a brief to visually show what you love/hate. I decided to do 'Dunking'. I rather like this, visually pleasing, very British in terms of its colours and feel and overall, very unique.
TOPIC: Learn Chinese BRIEF: I wanted to make learning Chinese easy and accessible. I decided to include typical Chinese take-out boxes and to include the Chinese symbol and also the way that I would pronunce the word.
Thank you for viewing this page of some of my final pieces of work. I wanted to show a mixed media response and a different range in my work.
Additionally, I do have logos, apps and other miscellaneous pieces of work that I will be uploading in the near future.
